Antonio Cairoli returned once again for a US Summer Vacation; lining up for RedBud, Southwick, and Millville with the Red Bull Troy Lee Designs Ducati effort.

Interestingly, Antonio Cairoli was assigned #93 based on his points from last year. Under the new rules, a rider shouldn't be able to get around that...but being a nine-time MXGP champion has its perks.
Even though Cairoli was on a full US spec bike, he stuck with Pirelli tires, even though last year he raced on Dunlops.

A peek at the forks used by the Lawrences. The gold flat-blade screw is to bleed the forks. The gray flat-blade screws are to insert a tool to add air pressure to the outer chamber (air assist fork). The small silver nob at the center is likely the compression adjuster, while the blue adjuster around it (with the arrows) is likely pressure spring pre-load.

Roan Van De Moosdijk took on his first US National, with a DNF (bike issue) in moto one, but an 11th in moto two (while coming from way back), was more indicative of what he's capable of. As a very experienced sand rider, don't be surprised to see the #939 in the top part of the field.

Injuries have hampered that move, but he's finally behind the gate. He locked in a 25th overall, with a 24th and 22nd moto scores. He should be at Southwick to give it another go.
Connolly was pitted alongside of Christian Craig. Craig also raced the #144 during his time at TLD at one point.
