Prosecutors say police recovered an unregistered firearm from Zaire Wade’s home following his arrest on felony domestic violence charges last month.

Wade, the eldest son of NBA Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade, appeared in a Pasadena courtroom on Thursday, where he pleaded not guilty during his arraignment.

According to reports from the hearing, prosecutors told the judge that officers discovered and confiscated the unregistered gun while investigating the alleged incident.

Police were called to Wade’s Burbank residence after receiving a report of yelling and loud noises that raised concerns about a possible domestic disturbance.

When officers arrived, they found Wade and a woman who had sustained multiple lacerations to her face, leading to his arrest.

During Thursday’s hearing, the court also issued an emergency protective order requiring Wade to stay away from the alleged victim and surrender any firearms in his possession.

Wade remains free on bond, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Sept. 24.
