Suddenly with the 2026 AMA 450 National Motocross Championship winding down, the alarm bells are ringing for Hunter Lawrence, who came into Unadilla with the points lead, only to lose it when he tumbled his Honda CRF450 down a steep slope—losing the race leadt his brother Jett and who hads to work hard to keep a totally rejuvenated Jorge Prado from passing him as the laps wound down. Jorge got a whole new crew of fans as he chased Jett to the finish line for a second place spot on the podium.Meanwhile Haiden Deegan looked like the light went out in his command post. Haiden Deegan started with the holeshot in the first 450 moto, but got chewed up by the Hunter, Jett and Jorge high-speed railroad and even though he squeaked into third place on the podium at Unadilla, Haiden is now 66 point behind Jett heading to Bud’s Creek next weekend and is also 56 points adrift of Hunter who, didn’t earn any points in the second 450 moto and pulled into the pits before the checkered flag.
