Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayProfessional Fighters League (PFL) staged the “Jean vs. Storley” event last night (Fri., Aug. 1 2025) from inside Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J., featuring the Featherweight and Welterweight final matchups.
In the co-main event 145-pound matchup, Movlid Khaybulaev and Jesus Pinedo went to war for nearly five rounds in a back-and-forth battle. With a little under two minutes remaining in the bout, Khaybulaev managed to catch Pinedo with a tight arm-triangle that forced the stoppage.
With the win, Khabulaev improves to 24-0-1 and secures his second PFL tournament final win, as he earned his first in 2021 by defeating Chris Wade via unanimous decision. For Pinedo, he drops to 16-2 and failed to win his second final after reaching the mountain top in 2023.
In the headlining bout, Thad Jean and Logan Storley collided in a highly-competitive 170-pound scrap. After 15 minutes of action, Jean had done enough to earn the nod on the judges scorecards. With the win, Jean improves to 11-0, 7-0 PFL. As for Storley, he suffers just his second win under the PFL banner, snapping his three-fight win streak.
