Trae Young’s new four-year, $212 million contract with the Washington Wizards includes a 7.5 percent trade kicker, league sources told HoopsHype.

The agreement, which was initially reported by ESPN, also gives Young additional flexibility through a player option in the fourth and final year of the deal.

The trade kicker would increase his earnings if he is dealt while under the contract.
