Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayLaunched in 2025, the Old Man Mountain experimental bikepacking team took on some of the most challenging races on the planet last year. Now expanding to up to 15 riders, the chance to join this select squad is here. For details on how to apply, read on below…
Debuted last year, the Old Man Mountain experimental bikepacking team is now expanding from its initial five riders. The rack company is seeking 10-15 more talented, interesting, unique, and ultra-focused bikepackers willing to join them in taking on some of the toughest bikepacking races on earth. Per Old Man Mountain, “We want Experimental Bikepacking Team to be a space where personalities, styles, and characters blend, communicate, grow, and transform with each other while remaining individual. We are looking for people who are fast and skilled riders pushing bikepacking and endurance racing forward, and that goes well beyond podiums. Camaraderie, community, and advocacy are far more important to growing the bikepacking community than podium finishes.”
Sponsored by Old Man Mountain, Silca, and the Robert Axle Project, team riders will receive free Old Man Mountain products, access to early prototypes, a wide range of Silca products, massive discounts from various industry partners, and PR/marketing support to help build their personal brand as a rider and racer. Though the “team” element is a loose concept, as not all racers will attend the same events, Old Man Mountain is hoping to create a training camp for all members of this expanding team to come together for 4-5 days.
Applications for the experimental bikepacking team are open from now until 11:59 p.m. on December 2nd, 2025. For more information on how to apply, visit OldManMountain.com.
