Unless something changes dramatically — and soon — it is going to be a long summer at Citi Field.
It’s not even June, and the only teams worse than the Mets (23-33) in the National League are the Rockies and Giants.
Not surprisingly, Mets fans have already seen enough.
Even in Wednesday’s 4-2 win over the Reds that snapped a five-game losing streak, Devin Williams heard it from the crowd as the struggling closer loaded the bases with three walks before picking up the save.
