Through two games in the NLCS, the Milwaukee Brewers have had to face starting pitchers Tarik Skubal and Yoshinobu Yamamoto. 

But after eking out a 2-1 win in Game 1 over the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Brewers chased Yamamoto by scoring three runs in the first three innings en route to a 7-4 win and 2-0 series lead. The star of the game for Milwaukee was William Contreras, who went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI to move the Brewers within two games of their first World Series appearance since 1982.

Now the series shifts to Los Angeles, where the two-time defending World Series champions need to win to avoid the dreaded 3-0 series deficit. 

Which brings us to today’s quiz. While he may not be a household name, Contreras has been a consistent presence in the Brewers lineup, recording at least 150 hits in three of his four seasons in Milwaukee.
