“Every single Heavyweight in the world is on my radar,” Teremoana said to DAZN. “At the moment, the closest to me is Savage. So he is my priority on August 12.

“When people ask if I want to fight Justis, yeah, I want to fight Justis. I want to fight Moses Itauma. I want to fight Filip Hrgovic. I want to fight Daniel Dubois. I want to fight Oleksandr Usyk, Agit Kabayel. I want to fight all of these people. But obviously I’ve got to earn my way there.”

The 27-year-old Olympian has stopped every opponent since turning professional in December 2024, building an 11-0 record with 11 knockouts. Savage (11-1, 11 KOs) also brings serious power into the contest, with his lone defeat coming on points against Brandon Moore.

Teremoana also welcomed the prospect of an all-Australian clash with Justis Huni, dismissing promotional politics while arguing that the matchup would attract enormous interest.

“Some people say he’s the best Australian fighter. Some people say that I am,” Teremoana said. “I myself say that I am the best Australian fighter that’s ever been in Australia.”

A victory over Savage would strengthen Teremoana’s position for bigger opportunities, although names such as Itauma, Dubois and Usyk remain well above him in the current heavyweight pecking order. Before any of those bouts become realistic, he must first extend his knockout streak against the dangerous American next Wednesday.
