Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayLast year's MLB All-Star Game saw the debut of the first ever "swing-off" with the game tied after nine innings. The National League won that All-Star Game after three home runs from Kyle Schwarber as the last NL participant in the swing-off.
The swing-off participants have been revealed ahead of first pitch of the 2026 All-Star Game on Tuesday night.
Swing-off participants have been announced
For the National League, the participants will be Colorado Rockies catcher Hunter Goodman, Washington Nationals outfielder James Wood and 2026 Home Run Derby winner and St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Jordan Walker.
For the American League, the participants will be Seattle Mariners outfielder Randy Arozarena, Boston Red Sox first baseman Willson Contreras and Chicago White Sox first baseman/designated hitter Munetaka Murakami.
It is a bit surprising to see that neither Junior Caminero or Kyle Schwarber made the list for their respective leagues.
The 2025 swing-off was electric
Schwarber won the 2025 All-Star Game for the NL with his three home runs in the swing-off. Baseball fans raved on social media about the swing-off concept rather than the game going to extra innings and potentially ending in a tie.
The All-Star Game will be live on FOX at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday night.
