Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayAgit Kabayel has gained another high-profile supporter ahead of a potential heavyweight title shot against Oleksandr Usyk.
Tyson Fury’s manager, Spencer Brown, says he believes Kabayel would defeat Usyk and capture the heavyweight championship.
Brown discussed the possible matchup, making it clear that he rates Kabayel highly and views him as a major threat to any heavyweight in the sport.
“The Kabayel situation is this. Agit is desperate to fight Usyk,” Brown said to iFL TV. “He feels that he’s the best heavyweight in the world at the moment.”
Brown noted that Kabayel has been aggressively pursuing the fight and believes the unbeaten German has the style and ability to trouble Usyk.
“He really wants this fight. It’s all down to Usyk,” Brown said.
Brown went further when discussing Kabayel’s chances, describing him as one of the most dangerous fighters in the division.
“Oleksandr Usyk is not getting any younger. He had a really tough fight in his last fight. Does he want to be getting in with killers, which I think Agit Kabayel is an absolute killer,” Brown said. “We just saw what happened with the Cuban [Frank Sanchez]. He’s going to knock the biggest prospect in America out. Agit murdered him.”
Brown made the prediction while discussing possible heavyweight scenarios involving Usyk, Kabayel, Tyson Fury, and Anthony Joshua. Kabayel entered the ring after Usyk’s win over Rico Verhoeven on May 23 and challenged the Ukrainian champion.
Brown believes Kabayel’s recent performances show exactly how dangerous he has become.
“I think he’s extremely good. I think he’s very, very good,” Brown said. “I really hope that him and Usyk fight each other because I think it’d be a hell of a fight.”
Asked directly who he would pick, Brown did not hesitate.
“I think Agit wins.”
