The Philadelphia 76ers are hoping to retain vice president of player personnel Prosper Karangwa, sources told Marc Stein of The Stein Line.

Karangwa is drawing interest from the Lakers and the Mavs.

The Lakers have secured permission to speak to Karangwa, with Masai Ujiri expected to follow (Ujiri is also said to have interest in Raptors executive Patrick Englebrecht).

The Lakers hired Rohan Ramadas as an assistant general manager on Monday as they continue to transform their front office under new owner Mark Walter.
