Caldwell-Pope will clear waivers on Tuesday at 5 PM ET.
The Sixers could also waive-and-stretch Broome to open up a roster spot.
Jabari Walker could also get waived to make room, but the Sixers reportedly prefer to keep the forward.
Walker's $2.6 million salary is non-guaranteed until January 10.
