UFC newcomer Salahdine Parnasse isn’t bothered about Dan Hooker’s trash talk heading into the UFC Paris main event.
For the longest time, mixed martial arts fans who follow promotions outside of the UFC have been praising Salahdine Parnasse. He’s done great work across multiple countries and weight classes, and now, he’s arrived in the big time.
Salahdine Parnasse will be going head to head with Dan Hooker in the main event of UFC Paris, giving you an idea of how highly they think of him given that he has yet to compete for the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
In a recent interview, after Hooker issued a few warnings to him, Salahdine Parnasse made it clear that he’s focused on the task at hand.
Salahidne Parnasse discusses Hooker’s trash talk
“It’s just silly,” Parnasse told MMA Junkie through an interpreter. “It’s just, you know, the thing that he says. I don’t have to worry about that. All I’ve got to worry about is what I’m going to do in the fight, what I’m going to do in that cage.”
“No, I feel good,” Parnasse said. “I feel really, really good, and I’ve had a lot of challenges, sporting challenges, in my life. I’ve had a lot of big moments, so I feel really good to go in there and put on a great fight on Saturday. I know that’s what people are expecting to see.”
