Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayRyan Garcia has an unusual response in mind if Conor Benn becomes physical with him during the promotion for their September 12 fight.
The two meet in Las Vegas with plenty of public interest already surrounding the event. Ryan has no need to manufacture hostility, but he may retaliate if Benn starts pushing, grabbing or attempting to intimidate him during a press conference.
“I’m just gonna hit Benn with an egg, if worst comes to worst. We’re gonna grab an egg and smack him, Eubank style,” said Ryan to the media.
The qualification “if worst comes to worst” changes the meaning of Ryan’s threat. He does not sound as though he plans to arrive carrying eggs purely to attract attention. His comment is more likely a warning about how he might respond if an encounter with Benn turns physical.
Copying Chris Eubank Jr.’s stunt would carry unnecessary risk. Eubank cracked an egg against Benn’s face during a February 2025 press conference, creating one of the most memorable scenes from their promotion.
Trying the same act could cut Benn’s skin or cause an eye injury. Jeopardizing a valuable fight for a brief moment of retaliation would make little sense.
The threat also gives Ryan another way to mock his opponent over the failed drug tests. The WBC previously connected Benn’s elevated clomifene levels with the possible consumption of large quantities of eggs, giving Eubank the idea for his original stunt.
Every version of the insult has followed Benn since the drug-testing controversy. He is unlikely to find it amusing if Garcia repeats Eubank’s performance.
More than anything, the comment may warn Benn against initiating a physical confrontation during the promotion. If he keeps his hands to himself, the eggs should stay out of sight.
