Ronda Rousey’s recent comments about a fantasy rematch with Holly Holm has one ex-UFC star at his wits’ end.

Rousey enjoyed a successful comeback fight against Gina Carano in the MVP MMA 1 main event in May. “Rowdy” said she considers the return a one-off and is back to retirement so that she can have more children. Despite this, Rousey appeared on “Up and Adams” and claimed that she would run through Holm in a rematch.

Holm was the first fighter to hand Rousey a pro MMA loss, and she did so in brutal fashion. “The Preacher’s Daughter” scored a head kick knockout back in late 2015 to capture the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship.

Retired UFC bruiser Matt Brown was irked by “Rowdy’s” comments given that Holm has been complimentary of her former foe. Brown took to MMAFighting‘s “The Fighter vs. The Writer” to unleash his latest rant on Rousey.

“It’s so uninteresting,” Brown said. “Because it’s Ronda, it’s a lot of people talking about it, you probably get a lot of replies on a tweet or something. But this is so uninteresting. She’s so just in her own world. It’s cool she believes in herself, I guess. The world is in her hands with that kind of belief. She’d get f*cked up by Holly if they fought again.

“We can go through all the cliché quotes. Yeah, you’ve got to believe in yourself even if no one else does and it’s cool that she does. OK, no one’s convinced because you beat Gina Carano. Who do you think you’re fooling here? I don’t even know if she actually believes it, but if she does, cool, that’s really good that you believe that. We don’t.”

Holm was in the boxing ring this past Saturday and dropped a controversial majority decision in her rematch with Stephanie Han for the WBA lightweight title. Holm and many others believe the score totals were a robbery.
