Manchester United are interested in signing the Mexican prodigy Gilberto Mora in the coming months.

According to a report from Defensa Central, they are willing to pay a lot of money in order to sign the 17-year-old attacking midfielder from Tijuana.

They will face competition from Spanish giants Real Madrid. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can win the race for his signature.

The Mexican has impressed in the Under-20 World Cup, and there is no doubt that he is a phenomenal talent with a bright future. He could develop into a quality player for Manchester United with the right guidance.

They have done well to groom young players in the past, and they could help the 17-year-old fulfil his potential as well. It will be interesting to see if they can beat Real Madrid to his signature.

The Spanish outfit is interested in securing his signature as well. They have done well to sign elite young talents in recent windows. They are hoping to sign the Mexican as well. The opportunity to join Real Madrid can be quite exciting for most players. The 17-year-old could be tempted to join them. However, he needs to join a club where he will get ample opportunities and a clear pathway to the first team. If Manchester United can provide him with the necessary assurance, he should look to join the English club.
