Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has been linked with a move away from the club this summer, and they would be open to selling him.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the player is no longer untouchable at the club, and Chelsea are exploring a future without him.

Chelsea need an upgrade

Juventus and Napoli are keen on signing the player, and both clubs have made enquiries regarding a potential move. He has been linked with Aston Villa as well.

It remains to be seen where he ends up. Jackson has had a mixed spell at Chelsea so far, but there is no doubt that the Blues need an upgrade on him. They will be hoping to fight for major trophies, and they need top-quality players.

They have signed Liam Delap this summer, and they need another experienced striker to complement him. It remains to be seen whether they can replace Jackson with a reliable finisher.

The Senegal striker was criticised for his poor performance against Flamengo in the Club World Cup, where he was shown a red card just four minutes after coming on. He let his team down, and his performances have not been spectacular either. He scored just 13 goals last season.

Perhaps a fresh start would be ideal for the former La Liga attacker. It remains to be seen whether he is open to moving to Italian football in the summer. Napoli and Juventus are among the biggest clubs in the world, and the option to join them could be exciting for the player.

Chelsea will be hoping to recoup a substantial amount of money for the player if they decide to sell him. He scored 15 goals in all competitions last season. There is no doubt that he has the quality to thrive in Italy, and it remains to be seen where he ends up.
