Chelsea are interested in improving the midfield unit with the signing of the Swiss International midfielder Ardon Jashari.

According to a report from Quotidiano Sportivo, AC Milan are interested in the players as well, and they have submitted an offer of €35 million. However, Club Brugge want €40 million for the midfielder.

Milan have not shown their willingness to improve their offer, and it will be interesting to see if Chelsea decide to come forward with the proposal. The report claims that the Premier League would have no problems paying the asking price for the midfielder.

Spurs and Arsenal have been linked with Jashari as well.

Chelsea could use another midfielder like Ardon Jashari

They could use another quality central midfielder to support the likes of Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo. Jashari has done well for the Belgian club, and he has physical and technical attributes for the Premier League as well. Chelsea will be competing in the UEFA Champions League next season, and they need a deeper squad so that Enzo Maresca can rotate his players.

Jashari would be a quality long-term investment for Chelsea. Even though the €40 million asking price might seem steep right now, the player could justify the investment in future.
