Raymond Ford offered no complaints after falling short against O’Shaquie Foster on Saturday night, accepting the result and vowing to return. Hours after losing a majority decision in Houston, Ford posted a message on social media that combined respect for the outcome with a reminder that tensions between the two fighters remain unresolved.
Good fight, Ian got no excuses. It’s still fuck that nigga tho 💯 I’ll be back

The loss was Ford’s first at super featherweight and ended his bid to become a two-division world champion. Despite the setback, his immediate reaction suggested he has no plans to dwell on the defeat.
Ford entered the fight looking to take Foster’s WBC super featherweight title but was unable to overcome the champion’s adjustments and pressure over 12 rounds.
The fight began with drama when Foster sent Ford through the ropes early in the opening round. Ford recovered and remained competitive through the first half of the contest, landing counters and body shots while matching Foster in several rounds.
Foster’s work rate increased as the fight went on. Ford remained competitive, but Foster landed more consistently during the second half and finished the stronger of the two.
The judges scored the bout 114-114, 116-112, and 118-110 in Foster’s favor. Ford’s post-fight message reflected both acceptance and frustration. He offered no complaints about the outcome but made it clear that the animosity between the two fighters remains intact.
At 27, Ford remains one of the more talented fighters in the division and indicated that Saturday’s defeat will not change his plans.”I’ll be back.”
