The Detroit Pistons are confident that they will be able to re-sign Jalen Duren, sources told Hunter Patterson of The Athletic.

Re-signing Duren is the team's top priority this summer, with both sides looking for a deal that makes sense for everyone.

Duren has already met with the Lakers and Kings, though no contract came to fruition.

Duren could accept the team's $9.6 million qualifying offer and become an unrestricted free agent next summer.

The Pistons also attempted to upgrade their roster this offseason, though asking prices for star players were too high.
