The Indiana Pacers plan to fully guarantee Quenton Jackson’s contract for the 2026-27 season, according to The Indianapolis Star.

Jackson’s deal included a $275,000 partial guarantee, with July 15 serving as the deadline for the Pacers to waive him before the remainder of his $2.58 million salary became guaranteed.

However, the organization reportedly has no intention of releasing the 27-year-old guard.

Jackson initially joined Indiana on a two-way contract in March 2024 and remained with the franchise through a series of new two-way agreements before earning a standard NBA contract in February.

The 6-foot-4 guard took advantage of increased opportunities last season as injuries affected the Pacers’ rotation.

Across 49 games, including 19 starts, he averaged career highs of 9.1 points, 2.9 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 18.3 minutes while shooting 47.0 percent from the field, 35.6 percent from three-point range, and 82.4 percent from the free-throw line.

Guaranteeing Jackson’s contract leaves Indiana with approximately $206.3 million committed to 14 players on standard deals.

The Pacers are currently above the luxury tax threshold and remain just below the first-apron hard cap, limiting their flexibility to add another veteran to the roster.

Jackson’s contract also includes a $2.93 million team option for the 2027-28 season, giving Indiana another decision to make next offseason.
