Phoenix Suns center Oso Ighodaro has agreed to a three-year, $29 million contract extension that will keep him with the franchise through the 2030-31 NBA season, according to ESPN.

The agreement was confirmed by Ighodaro’s agent, Erika Ruiz of Primera Sports, as Phoenix continues to secure players considered important to its long-term plans.

As part of the arrangement, the Suns will exercise Ighodaro’s $2.5 million team option for the 2027-28 season, ensuring that he remains under contract before the new extension begins.

The three-year agreement will take effect in the 2028-29 campaign and run through the 2030-31 season, providing the center with additional financial security.

The Suns are picking up Ighodaro's $2.5M team option for 2027-28, so the extension starts in 2028 and runs through 2031 for the franchise's second-round find who has established into a reliable center. https://t.co/wPhFMCxiZm
