The Denver Nuggets are reportedly not operating like a team looking to stay below the second apron, according to Marc Stein and Jake Fischer of The Stein Line.

The Nuggets were expected to shed salary this offseason to make room to re-sign Peyton Watson.

Watson is looking for a deal around $25 million per season.

The Nuggets have turned down trade offers for Cam Johnson this offseason. Rival teams are speculating that the Nuggets are looking to eventually deal Christian Braun instead.

The Lakers are also said to be interested in Jonas Valanciunas.
