The Denver Nuggets have hired Dave Joerger as the lead assistant coach on David Adelman's staff. Joerger spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach with the Milwaukee Bucks under Doc Rivers.

Joerger was previously a head coach six seasons. The veteran coach spent three years apiece leading the Memphis Grizzlies and the Sacramento Kings. He's also been an assistant with the Philadelphia 76ers.
