Murtazali Magomedov wasted no time on his promotional debut at UFC Vegas 119. Right after the opening bell, Magomedov looked composed, and within seconds, he took his opponent Melsik Baghdasaryan’s back and tried to sink in a rare naked choke.

When his RNC failed to get the job done, he dragged “The Gun” to the mat, rolled, landed a couple of shots from side control, and then locked in a spectacular Twister Submission to force the tap and improve his professional record to 11-0.

At the post-fight interview, the fighter from Kyrgyzstan opined that he will make the featherweight division great again. The 26-year-old, who has a 100% finish rate, also confessed that he has been working on the Twister Submission in the gym, and on fight night, all the hard work and drills finally paid off.
