Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayMike Gansey has been hired by the Philadelphia 76ers as President of Basketball Operations. Gansey was most recently general manager of the Cleveland Cavaliers under Koby Altman.
Gansey will replace Daryl Morey, who the 76ers parted ways with after their second round loss to the New York Knicks.
Bob Myers, who is president of sports for Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, led the search and will work closely with Gansey.
Gansey played collegiately at West Virginia and joined the Cavaliers' front office in 2012.
