Conor McGregor has given blood and urine samples, marking his official return to the UFC’s drug testing pool.

“The Notorious” has been talking about a return to testing since May, and now shared photos and videos from his first sample drawing, declaring “I gave my first blood test, that is what the plaster is on my shoulder. I am ECSTATIC! I’m in SHAPE!”

He also gave a urine sample, as evidenced by a photo of him holding up a cup of yellow liquid.

“I p—s excellence,” he captioned it.

McGregor is currently on his yacht off the coast of Italy where he awaits a visit from UFC CEO Dana White, who will join him at some point over the coming weeks to enjoy life — and presumably talk about his long-awaited comeback. The Irish sports star hasn’t competed since breaking his leg in half against Dustin Poirier back in July 2021. He left the USADA drug pool to treat that injury, returning in October 2023.

He nearly fought Michael Chandler in June 2024, but pulled out due to a broken pinky toe. That fight was never rebooked, and the Mac stopped getting tested by Drug Free Sports International (DFSI) in September 2024. Now he’s had his first visit by the agency, which starts the clock on a mandatory 6 months period of random testing before he’s eligible to fight in the UFC.

That would clear him for March 1st, far ahead of the 4th of July card at the White House that Conor is hellbent on competing at.

Will McGregor actually go through with his comeback? Everyone thought he would the first time he started getting tested again. Most are more skeptical now following years of claims and declarations that never came true.

McGregor is living the high life, traveling the world and enjoying everything that comes with having hundreds of millions in the bank. He’d need to lock himself down in the gym for months to get anywhere close to being UFC caliber again, and that’s if his natural abilities haven’t been ground down by years of hard partying.
