Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThe LA Clippers injury-hit preseason took another blow on Sunday. Starting Max Strus suffered a right ankle injury during the Clippers preseason win over the Golden State Warriors in Hawaii.
Strus went down while coming off a screen away from the ball. He limped off the court and was ruled out shortly after with a right ankle injury. Following the game, LA head coach Ty Lue expressed concern about the nature of Strus' injury.
"Never good to see when it’s a non-contact play," Lue said. He added that the veteran wing would have further testing when the team returns to Los Angeles.
The Clippers acquired Strus from the Cleveland Cavaliers this offseason in a five-team trade. The 30-year-old wing is in the final year of his contract at $16.6 million.
