Luka Doncic and his former fiancée, Anamaria Goltes, appear to be moving toward a private resolution in their child support dispute.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Goltes has asked a Los Angeles judge to dismiss her child support petition without prejudice, saying the decision was made so both sides could reach an agreement outside of court.
“I am withdrawing my Petition for Child Support with the specific intention of resolving this matter amicably and by a mutual agreement which is in the best interests of our children,” Goltes stated.
The filing comes after Doncic sought to have the case dismissed, arguing the petition should not have been filed in California because the couple’s children live in Slovenia.
His attorney, Laura Wasser, also claimed the Lakers star had encouraged Goltes to relocate to California with their children, but she chose to remain in Slovenia.
TMZ previously reported that the longtime couple ended their engagement due to the distance between them. They share two daughters, 2-year-old Gabriela and 7-month-old Olivia, after spending roughly a decade together.
