Hi there.

I'm soon turning 50 and been playing alot of badminton 20 years ago. Was more nimble back in thoose days also. Would consider myself a happy amateur and would call my self an intermediate player perhaps on the lower end today.

Ei mostly play singles but leaning towards more doubles beacuse rhe body craves that.

I'm looking on a few different raquets and would love some feedback. I'm neither a aggressive or a defensive I'm more mixed as a player.

Looking at theese raquets

Victor 100xU
Yonex 77 pro
Victor fantom
Li ning halbertec 7000
Yonex astrox 88D pro

I don't want a super stiff raquet and I'm only gonna string it around 23-24lbs and also want some strings with a bit softer feel.
Don't want a super head heavy one either trying to save the arm and body some unessary pain.

Playing 2 times a week and it's 50/50 singles and doubles nowdays.

What would work and also open to suggestions on other brands.

I've read alot of that the freecore handle breaks easily and that Victor don't change them if they do. Don't want a raquet that vibrates alot either.

Whats out there for me?

Sry forgot that I'm most likely gonna go for 4ug5 or perhaps 3ug5 I'm a tall person with long arms and have a decent speed in my strokes already.

honestly if you want something more forgiving while still feeling good i suggest you look out for the arcsaber line, especially the 7 pro. the astrox 77 pro is also really forgiving just a little more oomph to it and more head weight to carry the shuttle along.
