Brian Windhorst cast doubt on the possibility of a LeBron James reunion with the Cleveland Cavaliers, explaining that the financial side of such a move remains a major obstacle.

While speculation about LeBron potentially returning to Cleveland continues to circulate, Windhorst said the Lakers star is not expected to significantly reduce his salary to help make that scenario realistic.

“To my knowledge, LeBron is not prepared to take that kind of pay cut,” the analyst said while discussing the possibility of a Cavaliers reunion.
