LeBron James continues to consider the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves, but ESPN's Shams Charania reports that the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers is where he is believed to be focusing his attention.

James is a free agent after spending the past eight years with the Los Angeles Lakers. James' free agency this year is taking longer than it did in 2010, 2014 and 2018.

"The feel is those five teams remain in the mix, but a focus on Cleveland, Miami and Philadelphia," said Charania on Tuesday. "And he's made it clear he wants to be part of a team where he has a chance to compete for a championship. A new team environment and culture he can be a part of.

"The reason that this is taking so long and why he is able to take his time is this is not a money driven decision."

James could sign for as little as the veteran's minimum with some teams able to offer him an exception.

"This could be any day, any week now," added Charania.
