The Sacramento Kings have added frontcourt depth by agreeing to a two-way contract with Jonathan Mogbo, according to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto.

Mogbo, the 31st overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, joins Sacramento after spending his first two NBA seasons with the Toronto Raptors. The 24-year-old forward appeared in 103 regular-season games during his stint in Toronto, averaging 4.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 14.9 minutes per contest while shooting 45.5 percent from the field.

His most productive campaign came as a rookie in 2024-25, when he played 63 games and made 18 starts. Mogbo averaged 6.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 20.4 minutes while contributing as an active rebounder and secondary playmaker from the power forward position. He also recorded 0.9 steals per game.

His role diminished during the 2025-26 season as Toronto finished 46-36 and reached the playoffs. Mogbo appeared in 40 games, all off the bench, averaging 1.5 points and 1.7 rebounds in 6.2 minutes. Although his opportunities were limited, he converted 59.1 percent of his field-goal attempts, reflecting efficient finishing around the basket.

The move gives Sacramento another developmental frontcourt option after a difficult 2025-26 campaign. The Kings finished 22-60, tied for the Western Conference’s worst record, and missed the postseason after going just 14-38 against conference opponents.
