Keyshawn Hall has changed course on his professional plans and will return to college basketball for another season, committing to St. John’s following a ruling that granted certain players additional NCAA eligibility.

The 6-foot-7 forward had been expected to join the Miami Heat on an Exhibit 10 training camp contract. Instead, Hall will use the opportunity to play a fifth college season.

Hall spent last season at Auburn, where he averaged 19.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.

After going undrafted in the 2026 NBA Draft, he joined Miami for Summer League action, averaging 3.2 points and 3.4 rebounds in 16.1 minutes across five appearances.

However, Hall’s college status is not necessarily settled. The NCAA remains involved in a legal dispute over whether players in his situation should receive an additional season of eligibility.

If Hall is eventually declared ineligible to compete for St. John’s, he would again be free to pursue a professional contract with Miami or another team.
