Bad news for Kevin Horgmo during the MXGP of China. The Norwegian rider from Team SR Honda Moto Blouz crashed during free practice and suffered a wrist injury.

Despite the injury, Horgmo attempted to continue with the programme. He got back on the bike during timed practice, but it soon became clear that the pain was too severe for him to continue riding safely.

The Norwegian therefore decided not to take part in the qualifying race. This brought his Saturday in China to an early end.

It is not yet known how serious Horgmo’s wrist injury is or whether he will be able to compete in both motos on Sunday.
