Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayIt has been nearly three decades since the New York Knicks entered the NBA Finals, and now lead the series 2-0 back in Madison Square Garden against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday.
However, the get-in price for Game 3 was $9,257, which was a big increase from the $7,142 rate for the least expensive ticket on Thursday afternoon.
Knicks forward Josh Hart reacted to the ticket prices as some fans are out of financial reach of that high.
“I kind of wish the ticket prices weren’t as crazy as they are. I feel like a lot of people who have been waiting for this moment for a very long time unfortunately aren’t able to get into the building. The cheapest ticket $7K, $8,000. That’s ridiculous”

As of Sunday afternoon, ticket prices for Game 3 continue to drop, with the get-in price dropping to $6,033, while the most expensive seat available is $95,501, per Gametime.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver showed frustration that more people cannot afford to attend the Finals games, as he acknowledged the high prices and demands.
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump is expected to arrive for Game 3, and the demand for tickets has decreased due to concerns about long waits, security checks, and restrictions on bringing bags and other personal items into the arena.
The Knicks stated that fans should arrive at the arena two hours before game time to allow additional time for screening and entry.
