Juzang joins Minnesota following his most productive NBA season to date with the Utah Jazz.

The 24-year-old averaged 8.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.1 assists across 64 games in 2024–25, while shooting 37.6% from three-point range on 4.9 attempts per game.

Free agent guard Johnny Juzang has agreed to a one-year deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves, sources tell ESPN. Juzang played his first three NBA seasons in Utah and averaged 8.9 points and 38% 3-point shooting in 19.8 minutes per game in 2024-25.

His shooting ability and improved consistency off the bench made him a valuable contributor in Utah’s rotation before the franchise waived him on June 30.

Originally undrafted out of UCLA in 2022, Juzang worked his way into the league through a two-way deal with the Jazz.

After battling early setbacks, including a concussion and a wrist sprain in his rookie year, he gradually carved out a larger role.

For his career, Juzang has appeared in 102 NBA games, averaging 7.9 points per game while shooting 42.1% from the field and 36.3% from beyond the arc.
