Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayJohn Blackwell has withdrawn from the 2026 NBA Draft as an Early Entry Candidate. Blackwell will now transfer from Wisconsin to Duke for his senior season.
Blackwell was seen a potential late second-round pick, but was more likely to go undrafted. With a big senior season at Duke, Blackwell could improve his draft stock into the second round or even late in the first round of the 2027 NBA Draft.
As a junior for the Badgers, Blackwell averaged 19.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals per game. The 6-foot-4 guard shot 38.9% on 7.3 three-point attempts per game.
With the Blue Devils, Blackwell will replace some of the scoring and shooting that Duke is losing with Cameron Boozer and Isaiah Evans headed to the NBA.
