Jimmy Butler had some fun at Stephen Curry’s expense during his offseason trip to Amsterdam.

The Golden State Warriors forward shared a series of workout photos on Instagram, but instead of showing his own face, Butler appeared to photoshop Curry’s face onto his body in all five images.

Curry quickly noticed the joke and responded in the comments.

“What is wrong with you,” Curry wrote alongside a laughing emoji.

The post was another example of Butler’s playful personality away from basketball.

He has become known for joking with teammates and previously attracted attention by arriving at the Heat’s 2023 Media Day with the unusual look that became known as “Emo Jimmy.”

It also wasn’t Butler’s first time involving Curry in a prank. The Warriors teammates previously teamed up to joke with former Golden State guard Buddy Hield.

Their latest exchange highlights the close relationship between Butler and Curry, even as the Warriors enter the 2026-27 season facing uncertainty on the court.

Golden State had a relatively quiet offseason after missing out on LeBron James, with the selection of Yaxel Lendeborg at No. 11 in the NBA Draft representing its biggest addition.

With Butler recovering from a torn ACL and Moses Moody also dealing with an injury, much of Golden State’s offensive responsibility is once again expected to fall on the 38-year-old Curry.
