Jeffrey Herlings has also won the second MXGP moto in Sweden. Following a heavy crash involving Jago Geerts and Kevin Brumann, the race was red-flagged two minutes before the scheduled finish. Herlings came through the first corner in around fourth place before quickly taking over the lead.

Behind Herlings, Romain Febvre finished second, ahead of Tim Gajser, Tom Vialle, and Ruben Fernandez.

Calvin Vlaanderen crashed in the first corner and was forced to retire from the race. Brent Van Doninck was also involved in the incident and was unable to continue.

Fortunately, footage showed that Kevin Brumann was able to leave the circuit under his own power.

The podium in Uddevalla consisted of Jeffrey Herlings, Romain Febvre, and Tom Vialle. Pauls Jonass put in an impressive ride to finish fourth, with Tim Gajser fifth.

In the battle for the world championship, Herlings (735 points) now has a 116-point lead over Romain Febvre (619 points), while Tim Gajser (575 points) has moved up to third place.
