Jeff McNeil left his mark.

The former Met and current Athletics infielder made an acrobatic attempt to catch a foul ball on Saturday and accidentally cleated a fan in the face.

With the bases loaded in the bottom of the second inning, the Padres’ Gavin Sheets popped a ball into shallow right field at Petco Park.

The two-time All-Star McNeil did not have a ton of room to work with, but nonetheless went for the ball as he wound up flipping over the wall.

McNeil did not come up with the catch, and his wild attempt saw him accidentally kick his foot up and catch an elderly Padres fan with his studs.

The fan appeared to be mostly unharmed, though he had a couple of small cuts on his face and was seen dabbing blood off himself with a napkin.

If it’s any consolation for the fan, his Padres won the game 2-0 and moved to 31-20 on the year.

McNeil went 0-3 at the plate but added a walk.

The longtime Met, 34, is playing his first season outside of New York after being traded away in December.

He’s slashing a respectable .272/.339/.367 line so far with 15 RBIs for an Athletics team leading the AL West at 26-26, 1 1/2 ahead of the Mariners.
