Former Michigan State forward Jaxon Kohler announced his commitment to BYU on Thursday.

Kohler, who was not selected in the 2026 NBA draft, signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Jazz and played with the team during Summer League.

Kohler was recently cleared to play for a fifth year in college after a federal court ruled that all high school athletes from the class of 2022 who exhausted their four years of eligibility are eligible for one more year.

Kohler averaged 12.5 points and 8.9 rebounds for Michigan State last year.
