Orgo-Life the new way to the future

The big names keep dropping for the OG vets event, the Farleigh Castle Vets MX held at the beautiful and iconic Somerset Grand Prix circuit just outside Bath. Having been formed in 2009, this staple of the MX calendar has been a highlight of the year for decades, and for 2026, the promoters are hard at work bringing the event back to its former glory, focusing on track prep and the racer experience over gimmicks.

One of those riders who returns year after year is Jamie Skuse. The super-experienced Bristol-based racer has an impressive resume. His championship titles include the 2012 and 2017 South West Masters, the 2015 Evo 250 British champion, runner-up at the European Evo in 2018, and VMXdN 250 Evo winner in 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023. He has also been a teammate of Brad Anderson and Ryan Voase at the Italian vets event. In 2024, Skuse made the switch from the Evo to the Super evo class and has since topped the podium at both the 2024 and 2025 Farleigh Castle Vets MX Event. His hard-charging, aggressive style is always worth a watch.

With rider entries being as in demand as expected, getting to race in the established classes is likened to getting a “golden ticket”, for 2026 the promoters have reinstated the twin shock class as well as added a new 4-stroke era correct class,  so now fans will be able to see a range of machines spanning four decades on track.

Gates open at midday on Thursday, September 10th, to allow early access, prior to the chill Friday with track walk and scrutineering before the gate drops on the racing action on Saturday. With two days of racing with the biggest names in the UK on era correct machines that make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end with the sound and smell of 60 of these machines on track.

Not to forget the ever-popular main event, the Farleigh Castle Vets MX team race, which traditionally has given us the bar-to-bar action from the elite vets racers we all love.

Saturday, Sunday, Weekend tickets and camping passes are available now – https://www.farleighcastlevetsmx.co.uk/buy-tickets

Keep your eyes peeled on the social media channels for updates to the elite names lining up to race the grassy hillsides that have held the most epic of events.
