Orgo-Life the new way to the future

The Bombtrack Bikes crew has pedaled the Tuscany Trail together every year for more than a decade, and a special guest joined them in 2026. Charismatic ultra-distance cyclist Sofiane Sehili accompanied the group this time around, slowing down and discovering the magic of one of Europe’s most beautiful regions. Watch the 18-minute video from his ride here…

Words by Manuel Schuerholz

At Bombtrack, we’ve been getting together once a year since the very beginning of the brand, bringing together everyone who plays a part in making Bombtrack what it is. That means representatives from around the world, the crew from our headquarters in Cologne, Germany, but, perhaps most importantly, our family team riders too.

Many of them are involved with Bombtrack in one way or another, some even daily. Some tell stories on two wheels, sharing their experiences and adventures out on the bike. Others take on real responsibilities behind the scenes, from answering customer emails and copywriting to supporting exhibitions and creating multimedia content, and helping steer the brand in countless other ways.

Our annual gathering isn’t just about keeping the vibe high and the motivation at full throttle. It’s also about exchanging ideas, making plans, dreaming up projects, discussing bikes, and figuring out whatever else crosses our minds. For many years, we’ve been returning to the Tuscany Trail for this annual meeting of the Bombtrack family. And for good reason.

Sofiane Sehili Tuscany Trail 2026

The Tuscany Trail provides pretty much the perfect setting for what we’re trying to achieve: beautiful, rolling landscapes, generally good weather, and a route that brings together bikepackers from all over the world with very different backgrounds and skill levels. Out on the endless off-road roads and trails, there’s plenty of time to brainstorm, socialize, share ideas, and gather the energy and inspiration needed for another year ahead.

By now, everyone in our crew has taken part more than once. So, this year, we were particularly excited when Sofiane—having grown curious about what all the fuss was about—joined the Bombtrack mob for 2026. But there was one question we couldn’t help wondering about: how would a lone ultracycling wolf react to thousands of recreational bikepackers taking on the Tuscany Trail as their annual cycling holiday, sharing the adventure along the way? And how would someone who considers the roughness and remoteness of the Silk Road Mountain Race one of the ultimate pleasures of cycling feel about the smooth (yet deceptively steep) hills of Tuscany?

Of course, we know Sofiane well enough to know that he’s perfectly capable of doing more than just racing with his head down. He can tour with a huge grin on his face, too. And we knew the route would be challenging enough to keep things interesting. What we didn’t expect was just how much better, and more beautiful, the whole experience would turn out to be.

Every year, the Tuscany Trail writes a new chapter of stories, and the 2026 edition was no exception. Once again, the world’s biggest gathering of bikepackers proved to be an event of an exceptionally high quality, the kind of experience that leaves you already looking forward to the next edition before you’ve even left. We’ll be back in 2027. Maybe we’ll see you there!
