Each year, the MYBA Charter Show provides an opportunity to inspect some of the most exciting yachts entering the Mediterranean charter market. During the 2026 edition in Sanremo, one yacht that immediately captured our attention was Sanlorenzo yacht charter FORZA QUIETA.

As the only Sanlorenzo SP92 yacht available for charter, FORZA QUIETA occupies a unique position within today’s Mediterranean yacht charter fleet. Delivered in 2025 and designed by internationally acclaimed designers Piero Lissoni and Patricia Urquiola, she represents a fresh and contemporary interpretation of luxury yacht living.

What impressed us most, however, was not only the yacht itself, but also the people behind the experience.

The Only Sanlorenzo SP92 Available for Charter

FORZA QUIETA is currently the only Sanlorenzo SP92 operating within the charter market.

The SP92 platform itself is a departure from traditional motor yacht design, combining the speed and sleek profile of a performance yacht with the volume and comfort expected from a much larger vessel.

Throughout the yacht, floor-to-ceiling windows create an impressive connection with the sea, flooding the interior spaces with natural light and reinforcing the feeling of openness that defines the entire design.

One feature that particularly caught our attention was the use of transparent glass within the wardrobe areas, an elegant design detail rarely seen aboard yachts of this size.

Although measuring 27.95 metres, FORZA QUIETA feels considerably larger.

The saloon is exceptionally open and airy, with expansive glazing creating uninterrupted sea views.

One particularly clever feature is the large opening side window, which can be fully opened while a discreet air-conditioning curtain maintains interior comfort. The result is a seamless connection between interior and exterior spaces without sacrificing climate control.

Aft, guests enjoy direct access to an impressive 45-square-metre beach club, creating one of the yacht’s most attractive social spaces.

A Crew That Left a Lasting Impression

One of the most valuable aspects of attending MYBA is the opportunity to spend time with the crew.

Captain Raffaele Dominco immediately impressed us with his professionalism, experience and calm leadership style. With more than twenty years in the industry, he brings extensive navigational and technical expertise while maintaining a genuinely approachable personality.

The strength of the team was further demonstrated during the MYBA Charter Show itself.

FORZA QUIETA’s crew participated in the highly regarded All Hands On Deck competition and secured an excellent result, while also achieving third place in the MYBA Water Competition.

These events provide a valuable indication of crew coordination, teamwork and operational standards under pressure.

Meeting Chef Ardenia Diamanti

Another highlight of our visit was meeting Chef Ardenia Diamanti.

Her culinary background is among the most impressive we encountered during the show, spanning Michelin-starred restaurants in Barcelona, executive chef positions in the Caribbean and Spain, and time spent working in Kyoto, Japan.

Influenced by Zen philosophy and sustainable gastronomy, Ardenia specialises in seafood, plant-based cuisine, preservation techniques and ingredient-driven cooking.

Her international experience and multilingual background bring a particularly sophisticated dimension to the onboard dining experience.

Hospitality at the Highest Level

Stewardess Lucrezia Massari completes a highly versatile and energetic crew team.

Having worked across both interior and deck operations aboard previous yachts, she embraces a true all-hands-on-deck mentality that is increasingly valued within the charter industry.

Her background in hospitality, combined with fluency in Italian, English, French and Spanish, allows her to adapt naturally to a wide range of guest profiles.

Together, the crew create the welcoming atmosphere that often defines the difference between a good charter and a truly memorable one.

Details That Matter

During our inspection, several operational improvements stood out.

The galley has been enhanced with additional refrigeration and freezer capacity, allowing greater flexibility for provisioning and longer itineraries.

The yacht’s water treatment system has also been upgraded, further improving onboard autonomy and guest comfort.

Even the engine room deserves special mention. Immaculately presented and maintained, it reflected the same attention to detail visible throughout the rest of the yacht.

These are not necessarily the features that appear in brochures, but they often contribute significantly to the overall charter experience.

Accommodation and Guest Experience

FORZA QUIETA accommodates eight guests in four cabins, including:

• Full-beam master suite
• Two VIP cabins
• One convertible twin cabin

We were particularly pleased to see that the twin cabin can be converted into a double configuration without compromising comfort or functionality.

Importantly, despite its proximity to the engine room, the cabin remained remarkably quiet during our inspection.

The yacht is also equipped with stabilizers both underway and at anchor, ensuring a comfortable experience throughout the charter.

Our Verdict

Many yachts impress because they are new.

Others impress because they are beautifully designed.

FORZA QUIETA succeeds on both fronts, while adding another crucial ingredient: a crew that clearly enjoys working together and takes genuine pride in delivering exceptional charter experiences.
