West Ham United have now made contact over a deal to sign a "world-class" player, who is desperate to move to the Premier League this summer, according to a report.

The Brazilian failed to adapt to life in the Serie A, and believes that returning to the Premier League may increase his chances of going to the 2026 World Cup.

As such, Luiz could be a real coup for Potter, who will be looking to make a push for the European places next season, rather than flirting with relegation again.
