Josh Hokit has reacted after his arch-rival Alex Pereira purchased another supercar earlier today. The former two-division UFC champion has purchased a limited-edition blue Lamborghini Aventador SVJ from RT Auto Center, which reportedly costs nearly $1.5 million.

“Poatan” revealed the purchase to fans via his Instagram.

While taking delivery of the car with his coach, Plinio Cruz, Pereira described why he decided to buy the machine. Before revving up the beast and taking it out on the streets, he said:

“I was never the type to get hype over a car. I never had a dream to have a car like this. I have my cars. But I started getting the itch to buy this with the conditions I have today. I want this car. When I drove this car 3 years ago, I said, ‘Damn, I have a Lamborghini, but this one here is different,’ and now I’m getting it, Chama.”

What is next for Alex Pereira and Josh Hokit?

Josh Hokit is the next heavyweight title challenger. The 28-year-old will fight newly minted undisputed 265-pound titleholder Ciryl Gane at UFC 334 in November.

Pereira, meanwhile, wanted a rematch with Gane, especially after how things ended at UFC Freedom 250. However, the Brazilian will now have to wait for another chance to become a three-division UFC champion. Pereira’s next fight has not been announced yet. However, he could face a top heavyweight contender as he looks to score his first win in the heavyweight division and get back into the title picture.

That being said, a super fight with Jon Jones could also happen if “Bones” decides to return.
