The Charlotte Hornets are coming off their most promising season in several years and appear to have established a strong young foundation built around LaMelo Ball, Kon Knueppel, and Brandon Miller.

While that trio is expected to remain at the center of Charlotte’s long-term plans, the organization still faces important decisions regarding the rest of the roster and how best to build around its talented offensive core.

According to Roderick Boone of the Charlotte Observer, two players who are unlikely to be moved this offseason are Coby White and Moussa Diabate.

Diabate is entering the final season of a team-friendly contract after helping solidify Charlotte’s center position during the 2025-26 campaign.

His rebounding, particularly on the offensive glass, became an important part of the Hornets’ success and made him a valuable contributor in the frontcourt.

White also appears likely to remain in Charlotte after arriving in a trade at the deadline.

Although he is set to become an unrestricted free agent, the Hornets hold his full Bird rights, giving them the flexibility to re-sign him without major cap complications.

Not every player on the roster carries the same level of certainty, however.

Boone identified Miles Bridges as the most notable name to monitor in potential trade discussions or roster changes this summer.

Additional players who could find themselves involved in offseason movement include Pat Connaughton, Josh Green, Tre Mann, and Grant Williams.

ICYMI: Coby White is reportedly considered likely to re-sign with the Hornets, plus more from the Southeast. https://t.co/mXGrT710RF
