The 24-year-old Brady signed a multi-fight deal with Matchroom after building a 17-0 record with seven knockouts. He trains under Bozy Ennis in Philadelphia, with Hearn crediting both Bozy and Jaron “Boots” Ennis for recommending the prospect.

“Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis, Bozy and the guys in The Dungeon in Philly have told us that this young man is the real deal, and we’re going to give him every opportunity to prove that,” Hearn said.

Brady’s placement on the first Matchroom and DAZN Project Series event gives the company an immediate opportunity to test its new lightweight signing.

Marksman and Barreto headline the card with the WBA Continental Americas and WBO Global lightweight titles at stake. Marksman brings a 13-0-1 record with nine knockouts, while Barreto is 15-0 with nine stoppages.

“Getting Haven on our first Project Series card in Orlando is exactly what this new venture is designed for – giving the next generation of stars a platform to strut their stuff, and a potential fight between Haven and the winner of the main event could well be next,” Hearn said.

That possibility makes Brady-Jimenez more than an introductory contest. Matchroom features three developing lightweights on the same show and may already have the next fight lined up.

Brady still must deal with Jimenez, an 18-4 Nicaraguan with 10 knockouts. If he succeeds, he will have every reason to stay ringside until the final bell.
